Overview

Two Cousins Cafe stands as a heartfelt homage to Southern comfort food in the quiet town of Westville, Florida. Nestled at 63 Santa Rosa Ave, this family restaurant invites diners to step into a warm, unpretentious space where the essence of home-style cooking thrives. Locals and newcomers alike gather here to enjoy classics prepared with care and authenticity.

The highlight of the menu lies in its honest, soul-satisfying dishes like the fried chicken served alongside green beans, sweet potatoes, turnip greens, and ho-cakes. These plates evoke the deep-rooted traditions of Southern fare, where each element carries a story and taste of the region. Equally notable are their handcrafted sandwiches—ranging from a robust country ham to a crispy chicken sandwich—and fresh salads that offer variety without compromising on flavor.

Patrons consistently praise the generous portions and quality. Ryan Jaycocks shares his delight in the chicken fried steak and hamburger steak, paired with perfectly baked sweet potatoes, noting the service remains attentive even on busy nights. Another guest, Florida Fishin Girl, raves about the fried pork steak’s tender texture and the standout side of hand-breaded okra, enhanced by housemade blackberry and peach cobbler topped with vanilla soft serve. This kind of glowing feedback highlights the cafe’s dedication to both taste and hospitality.

Two Cousins Cafe balances a casual dining experience with quick, friendly service, as Katie Robinson mentions. The openness of the kitchen allows diners to connect with their meal, watching as ingredients transform into cherished dishes. This transparency meshes well with the restaurant’s identity as a hometown gem.

Located slightly off the beaten path, the cafe caters primarily to families and those seeking genuine Southern cuisine away from the hustle. The unpretentious setting coupled with a menu that celebrates traditional flavors makes it a sought-after destination in the region. Rita Sims notes the daily buffet options and the exclusive Sunday buffet offering, reinforcing the cafe’s role as a community staple where comfort and familiarity meet.

In essence, Two Cousins Cafe is more than a meal—it’s an experience woven from rich culinary heritage and a welcoming atmosphere. For anyone drawn to honest Southern cooking, this local favorite promises satisfaction and a taste of the true South.

The chicken fried steak and hamburger steak were excellent and we went during the sweet potato night. The baked sweet potatoes were perfect and even though very busy, service was acceptable.

Cash or check only. My new favorite place to eat! We went there for the first time today and had lunch. O M G the fried pork steak was melt in your mouth Delicious! Ed’s coleslaw best ever. Fresh hand breaded okra yum yum. Hubby had chicken fried steak w white country gravy, he could only eat half of the mouth watering huge serving. He chose fries and yummy steamed broccoli. Both served w Texas toast. Sweet tea and coffee was strong n fresh like it should be. To top it off we somehow found room for homemade blackberry and peach cobbler w soft serve vanilla ice cream. Drool… the service was amazing and we can’t wait to go back and bring ALL of our family! We just moved to this area (July 2024) and found this gem in the woods. Definitely worth the drive! If there’s a better place around… never mind, I know there isn’t just go see for yourself

Just good ol fashion place to eat. Been through this area many times never knew this place was there. One day I was looking on Google maps and saw this told the wife there's a place to eat here, so we took a mid morning, afternoon trip. Well worth it to us. I suggest packing up and find this place. Didn't take pictures inside, didn't want to offend anyone, there's pictures on the site. Just slap forgot to take one of the outside.
